About & Credentials
Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula · Lactation Educator · Trauma-Informed Birth Advocate
Bringing a child into the world is one of the most transformative, vulnerable and empowering transitions you will ever experience. Whether this is your first pregnancy or you are adding to a growing family, my mission as your doula is simple: to ensure you feel calm, completely informed and unconditionally supported every single step of the way.
I believe there is no single “right” way to give birth or parent. The right way is the way that feels safe, respected and aligned with your family’s unique values and health needs.
“My goal is not to step into your birth space and take over; it is to build a protected, peaceful environment where you and your partner feel fully empowered to make your own informed decisions.”
My pathway into birth work began over eight years ago following a background in human physiology and community health education. Attending births across hospitals, birth centers and home settings, I have seen firsthand how continuous, evidence-based support changes outcomes and mindsets.
Foundations
I help you decode medical terminology, understand the risks and benefits of interventions, and formulate preferences that reflect your true desires.
I honor your body, past experiences and personal boundaries, ensuring you maintain complete agency over your care at all times.
I am not here to replace your partner. I guide them, offer relief, and give them the tools to support you confidently.
Your choices are entirely yours. My role is to uphold your autonomy, amplify your voice and support your decisions.
“Will having a doula take away my role during labor?” Absolutely not. Your partner knows you better than anyone in the room; I know birth. During labor I take care of the logistics, suggest comfort measures and remind you both of your options — allowing your partner to focus entirely on being emotionally present.
When I’m not supporting families in labor or caring for newborns, you can find me hiking local trails, experimenting with sourdough recipes, or curled up with a book and a hot cup of tea. I live in the community with my family and dog.
